A community-based and member-owned organization, Northern Savings Credit Union has 4 branches in northern British Columbia. The organization is operating in a competitive landscape against the five national banks within the region. The credit union wanted to continue to engage the communities with their vision of neighbours helping neighbours. Through building sustainable communities, the credit union is able to build a better life for all.


Stack worked from the existing brand guidelines and slowly evolved to freshen the brand forward the past 5 years. We strategically dissected the overall visual language from colours, typography, photography to graphic elements, and over time, injected energy and uniqueness into new collateral, advertising and campaign initiatives.

Northern Savings achieved branding success by winning two National Credit Union Branding Awards in the last two years, for Brand Building and Financial Education Programs.
